Founded by Yomi, Heritage Clothings was born from a deep love for African craftsmanship and the stories woven into every fabric. Raised in Abeokuta, Nigeria—home of Adire and the Egba people—Yomi grew up watching her father transform leftover pieces of Adire, lace, and traditional cloth into beautiful dresses just for her. Those small acts of love and resourcefulness became the foundation of the brand.

Today, alongside her work as a GP in the UK, Yomi designs contemporary pieces using traditional African fabrics, creating clothing that feels as effortless as it is meaningful. From weddings and celebrations to everyday moments, each design is made to honour heritage while fitting seamlessly into modern life.
